Hello! I am Abhishek
I am currently pursuing my Masters in Computer Science at Brown University.
My area of specialization includes - Data Mining, Databases, Data Science and Machine Learning.
I would be working as a Teaching Assistant for CSCI 1320 (Creating Modern Web Applications) for the second consecutive academic year. This course covers all aspects of web application development, front end development, back end development, security, testing, accessibility, and deployment using HTML, CSS, JavaScript, jQuery, SQL, Node.js, Socket.io and other web frameworks.
In addition, I worked towards strengthening my skills in these domains as a Data Science Fellow in the Department of Innovation team in the Office of Mayor Jorge O. Elorza for the City of Providence. I had primarily worked with the Data Integration Programmer, on the city's Open Data efforts for it's transparency, application development, and Data Science initiatives.
I had planned to augment the spectrum of my valuable skills required as a Data Scientist and a Software Engineer with this internship experience before I delve into the industry and use my knowledge & skill set to solve interesting coding challenges and engineering problems.
With an expected graduation date of May 2018, I am interested to join the industry as Software Engineer/Developer or as a Data Scientist/Analyst/Engineer.
